On the occasion of the Jubilee 2025, Turin hosted a special event dedicated to the Holy Shroud:
the Digital Exhibition entitled "Avvolti" , which took place from April 28 to May 5, 2025 in Castle Square .
Unlike traditional physical exhibitions, this experience was entirely virtual and immersive . A specially set up tensile structure hosted a digital reproduction of the Shroud and the "Faces in the Face" exhibition , offering visitors the opportunity to experience an engaging and profound journey.
Through a interactive table , it was possible explore in detail the image of the Shroud , focusing in particular on significant elements such as the Face, the crown of thorns and the nail marks. The experience, designed to be accessible and engaging , it touched the hearts of visitors with the power of symbol and faith.
Alongside the virtual Shroud, the exhibition has also been set up "Faces in the Face" , which collected 100 works of art dedicated to the face of Christ , offering a further moment of artistic and spiritual reflection.
Promoted by the Cardinal Roberto Repole , Archbishop of Turin, the initiative is part of the context of Jubilee of Hope , representing a significant moment to celebrate the liturgical feast of the Shroud , which culminated with the Eucharistic celebration of May 4 , broadcast live on the official channels of the Shroud and the diocese of Turin.
